Within a circle, ‘az altāf-e Shāh Ashraf-e haq-sheʾar, be zar naqsh shod sekke-ye chār yār. Zarb-e Qazvin. 1139’ (‘Courtesy of the rights-respecting King Ashraf, the coins of the Four Friends [= the four Rashidun Caliphs] were struck in gold.
